Concerto Barocco- Spring 2025
After performing Esplanade in the fall, Gabby got to perform to the same music for Concerto Barocco by George Balanchine. Concerto Barocco was set by Miranda Weese, Carter Alexander, and Silas Farley.
Senior Dance Concert- Spring 2025
Gabby had the opportunity to perform in two dances for the 2025 Senior Dance Concert. Myka Field’s piece, Fools Rush In, dove into the many facets of love, reflecting on the power of human connection. Waiting With You by Ava Partida explored the emotional complexity of supporting a loved one during a difficult time.
Esplanade- Fall 2024
Gabby had the incredible opportunity to perform in Paul Taylor's Esplanade as "the little girl." Esplanade was an incredible experience that Gabby was grateful to be a part of. Esplanade was set by Parisa Khobdeh.
Senior Dance Concert- Spring 2024
Gabby had the opportunity to perform in Jadyn Raozzano-Keefe's dance, To Be Infinite. The dance explored the concept of body image, the infinite shifts in our bodies, and the unique stories that our bodies hold. She also performed in Anne Hulme's dance, Snapshots: A Dance Suite. This dance was a fusion and exploration of ballet, contemporary, and ballroom steps.
Facade of Order- Spring 2024
Gabrielle had the amazing opportunity to perform in a modern dance piece titled Facade of Order, choreographed by Cameron McKinney. McKinney's technique blends street dance styles, butoh, and contemporary floorwork.
Eve and Of Heaven and Earth- Fall 2023
Gabby had the opportunity to perform in Mike Esperanza's modern piece titled EVE. EVE was inspired by perception and how people present, receive, and interpret information. Gabby also had the opportunity to perform in a ballet piece created by Silas Farley. Of Heaven and Earth was created to the music of Francis Poulenc and expanded upon the language of classical ballet.
Senior Dance Concert- Spring 2022
Gabby performed in a contemporary ballet piece, CMYK, by senior Anika Crouser. CMYK explored the relationship between color, emotion, and movement. Additionally, she performed in Seasons Together, a jazz piece choreographed by senior Sydney Mora. Seasons Together was built from the connections we make as humans that affect how we proceed on our paths.
